Contestants competing in SCHA events must wear a cowboy hat, long sleeved shirt with collar (sleeves rolled down), jeans or show pants and cowboy boots while competing in judged events. Contestants must wear hat securely on head while competing in arena; hats should not be intentionally removed while competing. Contestants may choose to wear protective helmet/gear if desired.
